1.)

Compose a melody.

2.)

Loop it. (its possible in almost all Midi softwares. I use Mixcraft 5 in this tutorial)
do it Twice so we have it three times the same melody.

3.)

Export them from Midi files to sound files. (the blue are the midi, the green the sound)

4.)

(I seen it just in mixcraft, but if other Midi softwares can do it like Mixcraft, you can continue here. for other softwares I will upload later something)
Cut the middle piece of it.

why the middle piece?
because its better…. uhh. English explain skills fail lol.
the middle piece contains the sounds from the piece before, and can also end it. uhh…

okay we are finished with the software, lets change to Audacity.

5.) import it into Audacity.
(for this we don't need really a picture :B)

Okay, this here is Important for the looping.

zoom with the zoom-tool to the start/end of your loop.use the measure-feature "samples"
from the start and from the end you must select 20 samples.

at the start you must use "crossfade in"
and at the end "crossfade out"
Its IMPORTANT that you use 20 samples, longer as 20 samples will make the loop sound even weirder.
and shorter will not make it sound seamless.

7.)

Okay now you can listen to the full piece.
If it sounds seamless, you did your job good.

if you used something with much beats
and delay, it could sound still not really seamless, but for that I have still something.
if it sounds seamless, export it to.wav NOT .mp3

Good tutorial. It seems a lot easier to loop music in FL studio though (although not everyone wants/is able to acquire it).
