I've been working on it and I'd like your opinions on it.
Protagonist's name is Me (Eye).
The objective, like Lcd Dem is picking orbs. The effects is for helping it.
This game has some dialogue, but it is very rare seeing it happen.

Quite interesting so far, if i would have to say something to improve it's the colors, which are to bright in many areas. It makes the graphics look more amateurish than they might be. A good example would be the one in the picture. Try to keep each areas colors a bit more coherent.

There's a similar room in hallucigenia with yellow and pink unidentified stuff. That room has gray flooring and it blends nicely. Maybe you should just change the floor background to a less saturated color like a grayish green or really dark purple. In another note, try adding shadow to the objects, that helps blending as well

I really admire your dedication and quick working on this game. I was playing v0.02 and I came across this building that must be a place that has a while bunch of paintings that reference to other fangames right?

Well, I found this one painting and it has the symbol that is on my protagonist's (from my fangame, Broken Bottles) short! Is this a reference to my fangame? And if it is, you rock my world 8D

To get it is kinda like this:
Go to the purple door w/ pencil on it.
Find and interact w/ blue sign
On the "tiles world" go right-down, then left, use distort effect, then interact with the visible red thing.
On the pink/black place, go right/down and here on the picture ("Charlotte?" statue to interact.)
Then go leftways and interact with the monsters's foot.
Some monsters and places react when you are "inverted".

And… you can get an orb on this place (pink and black world), by interacting with an orange w/ cyan sprout and going left…

It is a program, developed by Cherry tree, that is somewhat of a "patch" to rpg 2k/2k3. But its basic structure is the same and even has some improvements, like:

I actually meant that I didn't play the game on account of hearing that it was scary (I was actually afraid to play it bfore xD ), I just wanted to play it because it looked interesting. And it's been very interesting thus far.
Even if it happens to not scare me/myself very much in the end, it still has some rather unsettling stuff and atmosphere though.

I must say, the first few worlds of your game don't really appeal, but I did sit down to read your thread and many people seem to like it. On that knowledge, I went looking further in, and I was pretty pleased with some deeper sections of your game!

I just want to stop buy and say how much I like this game! I recently decided to play it and i instantly fell in love with its yume-nikki style quirkiness! I also love how cute Me is.

I REALLY don't think this game could be called finished just yet. Let me just drop some things here.

-BUG: You can open the main menu when the countdown to enter the "sound world."
-NITPICK: Why just change SOME of the BGs and not ALL of them? Most of them, such as Distort1/2, aka and awa look HORRID compared to the lovely painted-looking BGs.
-BUG: The sound test Me changes to FC even when normal BGMs are being played.
-NITPICK: The sound test doesn't play all the game's BGMs.
-NITPICK: ED2 sounded better at 80%. Like, MUCH better.
-BUG: ED1 and Creditsed don't play at their right places/times in the true ending.
-BUG: The second ending's sequence doesn't play properly at ALL. I suggest adding some "Wait" commands in there.
-BUG: If you activate that event where, when you wake up you get a trippy animation of some NPC, after it finished and you wake up, you wake up AGAIN for some reason.
-BUG: You can't enter the school in V10.
-NITPICK: The "room" BGs are off-center and look horrible in game. You should try and line the "room" BGs up with the game's tiles so they don't look so off.
-NITPICK: Also, in Me's room in the sound world, you should get rid of that huge white splodge. It looks horrible and out of place.
-BUG: Sometimes when you pick up an orb, if you view the orb in the "dream" it is a different color.
-NITPICK: Also, the orbs look weird. Maybe just change them to some colored balls of light like LcdDem's?
-BUG/NITPICK: Some of the BGMs are WAY too quiet and can't be heard at all. I suggest making them louder. The BGMs of the eye and hand worlds via the nexus are good examples of this.
QUESTION: Also, does the BGM of the tree world with the blue BG have any sound at all? I hear absolutely nothing from that BGM.
NITPICK: Can't the orbs be viewed by the bed in the real world too?
NITPICK: Parts of the game that have colored/dark tints carry into other parts that shouldn't have it and it looks really weird.

This is a good game, but the stuff I mentioned above really spoils it.

Ah, yes! The fix is good, but there are still a few things I must say…

-BUG: If you use the PC in the sound world, and just exit the room instead of erasing the girl, you get teleported into the bed and can't get out unless you enter the dream.
-NITPICK: ED2 is at 90%, not 80%, sadly.
-BUG: ED1 and Creditsed STILL don't play in their proper places in the final ending - IIRC, ED1 played at the screen with Me sitting in the blood splotch and the flower people, and Creditsed played when she was walking down.
-NITPICK: The system sounds are so quiet, I can't hear them at all.
-NITPICK: Several BGMs are still too quiet! I do appreciate that the BGM of the blue-BG tree-world now has sound.

BUG: In the place with the giant roses after the space station area, when you interact with the eye, the picture doesn't show right - I looked in RPG Maker and think this is because of the empty tiles, the picture doesn't show on those tiles, so maybe put something on those tiles, or maybe try a BG and see if the picture works better?

1-Go on hands world,interact with the blood, then, go right-up to the corpse and interact. Then interact with Mary. On the gray city go up, then go on the two corridors. Go into the lower door and out of the forest.
Now, go left, and go on the second path leading down. Go straightfoward the path and you have a new orb.
2- Go to sponge world, and go into the box to the Colored Tree Area. Go down and interact with the younger Me (I'd recommend to you to use Mask or Distort while interacting). On the Glowing Teru Maze, go left and down into the door. Go straightfoward into the exit and down the stairs. On the garden, go right and down and interact with the leaf. On this new area, go down/right. The orb should be there.
3- (You must have collected all 24 orbs) go into the nexus, or in your case, warp back into the nexus. Then interact with the orb.

Its your/others' fault for not preserving copies while you had the chance.

Also, your simile is poor. It's still not controversial, because it's not the same thing, possible, or something companies actually do. Nor is it relative to what the author is doing. 'Purging'? You make it sound like he's trying to retroactively destroy past copies of his work.

What he's doing is simply not providing more copies, much like any company does with their movies. They stop running the movie in theaters, eventually they stop making DVDs. They don't go hunting down copies to destroy them or forbidding people to watch them – the 'movie' is already in circulation and they leave it at that.

They just replace it with what they choose is better, if they add onto it.

Even then, this isn't a finished work or a director's cut and he's not purging anything. I can't speak for the author, but I believe he has no obligation to archive his past versions for anyone but himself. If you want that so badly, do it yourself.

It's good to keep your old work for posterity and improvement, not to satiate fans who don't like that he's replacing old work with new work.

But again, the method of getting the endings involve getting all 30 orbs and depending on the quantity of wallpapers, you might get a different ending at the dream computer.
The only ending that does not use the dream computer, the first ending, is acessible by getting out from the door when you've gotten all of the orbs.

Hello.
It's a long list but here we go.
1-
Go to Technoilogic (color-changing door). Seek a black cube. Go in there and go to the house that has a head inside. Interact with the head. On the surreal landscape go right until the very end and talk to Heya, then you interact with a glitch. Then there will be a red moon that you will look at to recieve the orb.
2-
Go to Sponge world->Gray Box-> Sunset Path-> Colored Tree area. Look for a mini Me and walk through the Teru Maze. Afterwards, in Bloodstone Field, look for a leaf.
3-
Have Distort Effect, then go to Technoilogic (Color-changing door) and go to a sign near a bench. Interact with the sign. In Mono Tiles, go left onto the stars and use Distort effect. They will change onto a portal. Go through it.
4-
Go to Kaleidoscope-(Light pole)> Water City-> Building-> Rotating Circles-> Mountain-(Hole, jump down)>Under the mountain-> Tentaground-(Between two vine tentacles)> Pasture and Trees- (Move the sphere by usage of Magnet, then use Eraser on the wound)> Faces-> Corridor to that street-> Teru Building/Hospital-> Cracked Dolls Area -(Look for a doll at the south with a cracked head and darkened neck)> Orb location.
5-
Go to the Leaking Grey City (Sponge World->Leak). Then search for a sign with the number 172 at the rightmost part of the city.
In the new area, named Roadstrada, go down from the starting point, and a bit after the first crossroad, go left and interact with the Pory.
The new area, Pory Mirror Break, has a huge semi-klein bottle. Enter it and interact with the glass.
On this new area, go left until the second monster on the glass and go up. Near enough, you’ll see a black light. Use the distort effect to turn the black light onto a colorful one and interact with it.
At this new area, just head up. And when flames block your way, use the Weather effect.
5-
Go to the Leaking Grey City (Sponge World->Leak). Then search for a sign with the number 172 at the rightmost part of the city.
In the new area, named Roadstrada, go down from the starting point, and a bit after the first crossroad, go left and interact with the Pory.
The new area, Pory Mirror Break, has a weird flower with holes at the south. Use distort effect and interact with it. Then follow forth.
6- Go to Pink Wonderland/Fuchsia Sea [Sponge World-(PinkSponge)>Leak->Leaking Grey City-(Poster at the left of the entrance)>Red Ear->Right ear], then head south until you see a wall with a circle and a X. Use spirit effect and interact with the wall. On the new area (Smoke Baths), just keep going right, and at the very end, after you've passed outside the baths, and on a secluded room with a window, interact with said window and go forth.
6-
Go to Hands World -(Flower creature)> Neonium -(Entrance)> The New Factory -(light)> Fleshed arcs -(pole)> The Edge -(Flag)> Orb location
7- At the nexus, after you've gotten all of the orbs.

Wall 64 is gotten by going to Pencil World -(Rainbow)> Cloud'n'Rainbow -(Switch to night and head back)> Roof Museum -> Night forest and at the larger area, go right and up at the second fork in the road. The view will be beautiful.
The bonus areas are three and are at the museum.
There are three in the total.
Look at the three last pictures (a black and white one, a yellow with black stripes and a grey with an orange rectangle) Each of these lead to an area when touched. The chances are 1/64, though, but if you use Orifice effect at the Yellow with black stripes, the chance is doubled. You just touch and the area appears to you, magically.
They're called bonus areas because… well, they don't exactly add anything, but they are interesting.

To get the Color Wheel effect, you need to have Magnet first.
Magnet is found by Technoilogic->Building and go all the way up the floors.
Weather, you need to go to Kaleidoscope-(Light post)> Water city-> Circles-> Mountain-> Mountain House and head up the stairs, interacting with a rooster for the effect.

To get the Color Wheel effect, you need to have Magnet first.
Magnet is found by Technoilogic->Building and go all the way up the floors.
To find Color Wheel, Go at Kaleidoscope (Teal Door) Then interact with the sprout and follow the path. You will find a door. Enter it and go through the room until you find some sparkles. On the next world, go up all the way and use Magnet.

Orb:

[Kaleidoscope -(Sprout)> Field-> Heya's house -(Sparkle)> Pink Moon -(The X guy)> Stone Inside -(Grey door)> Fairy Field]

Spirit:
First you'll need the Orb effect, then go to Sponge World-> Leak -> Leaking Grey City -> Broken Building -(Go up several floors)> Ii/Ghost Floor-(Hole on the wall then White Sprout Me)> Red Hanging -> Spirit effect location.

And I think it would be nice if the Orb effect could change between all the colours of the orbs instead of just red and pink, like yellow and green and blue. Maybe a few other colours too, like orange? (Is orange an orb colour?)

Hands (Grey door)> Momo Forest (Mushroom with Plate)> Purple Sea (White Building)> Playground (Halo)> Meat Fields (Intestine)> Meat Maze> Orifice effect location.
As for what does it do, go to Parkazul (Go to Kaleidoscope-(Light pole)> Water City-> Building-> Rotating Circles-> Mountain-(Hole, jump down)>Under the mountain-> Tentaground-(Between two vine tentacles)> Pasture and Trees- (Move the sphere by usage of Magnet, then use Eraser on the wound)> Faces-> Corridor to that street-> Teru Building/Hospital-> (Colorful Helix) Watercolors-> Blue P. Path-> Parkazul) and use the effect while interacting with the Tartarian Aster inside the building.

Go to the Leaking Grey City (Sponge World->Leak). Then search for a sign with the number 172 at the rightmost part of the city.
In the new area, named Roadstrada, go down from the starting point, and a bit after the first crossroad, go left and interact with the Pory.
The new area, Pory Mirror Break, has a weird flower with holes at the south. Use distort effect and interact with it. Then follow forth.


Go to the Leaking Grey City (Sponge World->Leak). Then search for a sign with the number 172 at the rightmost part of the city.
In the new area, named Roadstrada, go down from the starting point, and a bit after the first crossroad, go left and interact with the Pory.
The new area, Pory Mirror Break, has a huge semi-klein bottle. Enter it and interact with the glass.
On this new area, go left until the second monster on the glass and go up. Near enough, you’ll see a black light. Use the distort effect to turn the black light onto a colorful one and interact with it.
At this new area, just head up. And when flames block your way, use the Weather effect.

Go to Pink Wonderland/Fuchsia Sea [Sponge World-(PinkSponge)>Leak->Leaking Grey City-(Poster at the left of the entrance)>Red Ear->Right ear], then head south until you see a wall with a circle and a X. Use spirit effect and interact with the wall. On the new area (Smoke Baths), just keep going right, and at the very end, after you've passed outside the baths, and on a secluded room with a window, interact with said window and go forth.

Eye World>Pink Mesh Maze>Spike Place>Abandoned City>256 World>(Rainbow Door). Use Color Wheel (Shifted) on Kazokude. After an event, return and there will be the orb.

The last one is in the nexus.

Sure, but after going through all that effort to collect effects and orbs (painstaking, in the orbs' case) it just feels too drawn out and tedious. At this point I'm not motivated to continue the game at all, I'm just completely sick of having to explore every nook and cranny for items. Even worse, there's nothing that tells me I've gotten a wallpaper beyond checking the PC, whereas with effects you get a message and orbs are plainly obvious gets. And from what I can tell, the ways of obtaining wallpapers are all over the damn place, meaning there's no obvious pattern to follow. Those two things alone are very much turn-offs.

If you're planning to update the remake any more, then you should really fix up the graphics. Me's sprite and several other ones do not look good next to many other sprites in the game due to inconsistent resolutions – for example, Me's sprite vs. the doors. You should really go over the game and make the resolution consistent, like either downscaling things like Me's sprite or upscaling things like the door graphics. As it is, the inconsistent graphics clash awfully and make the more upscaled sprites look ugly and pixelated, especially compared to graphics like the doors.
