I had a dream that yume nikki was made into a 2000s j-horror movie and Madotsuki woke up from her dream i think 15 minutes into the movie and turned out some kinda supernatural stuff was causing her dream’s. I can only remember very vague things from the film one thing was that madostuki wasn’t wearing her normal outfit just a school girl one. I just thought the dream was interesting so thought I’d share it here.

you know your descriptions of this yume nikki movie remind me a little bit of the movie hausu (or house 1977 if you actually wanna see results of it on any search engine) it may not exactly be like your dream but it does have supernatural shit and school girls in it i guess

I actually watched house a couple days ago i got a blu ray of it from criterion a blu ray company. I love it’s aesthetics’s and my favorite girl is probably kung fu i wish there was a sequel I’m planning to watch the other works by the director Nobuhiko Obayashi. I think if an actually yume nikki was made it probably need to have a very dream like feeling like a dario argento movie.
