i think theres a lot of interesting speculations that can be made about madotsuki's previous life before the hikki-ing, based on what is prominently displayed in the dream world. as in our dreams, what happens in them is based on our memories, experiences, and mindsets as we go through the real world, which then get chopped and screwed into fun little events or traumatic nightmares. i'll be posting some of my theories below, but id love to hear what you guys think based on your interpretations of the game :)

this is probably obvious but considering that she has an entire, pretty expansive world based on old famicom games, she has to have played a lot to have tetris effected herself that hard. if the game takes place in the year it was released, i'd imagine she grew up a gamer and had a particular fondness for the famicom, and would stay up replaying her favorites. like nasu.

the ancient central/south american indigenous inspired artwork in the game is such a unique point of reference, especially when it comes from the mind of a young japanese girl. while i do like the theory that shes part peruvian, this makes me think that maybe she liked that stuff enough to go to school to to study ancient peruvian art, or at least indigenous american art history in general. being so specialized, it would probably have to have been a graduate degree, which makes sense with how overwhelming it is in her dreamworld. she'd have to have lived and breathed that stuff for it to be basically all over the place.
