Holy fuck I just watched tv glow and I've genuinely never felt so viscerally discomforted by a psychological horror piece of media ever. It felt like seeing gore or hearing silverware on a plate. Such total existential dread without basically any overt body horror visuals. Fucking amazing film, even if it is made by a theymab tranny.

I've never been more scared in my life. Fucking incredible.

As far as surreal horror goes, nothing beats Eraserhead.

i saw it myself last sunday and here are my thoughts on it
it’s an ok slow burn horror movie pros being mark’s good acting, the set design, the cinematography and the whole payoff at the end (or the climax in other words) however it does have a few cons being that for a 2 hour movie it does sometimes drag a bit like even at some parts i was like “get on with it” but that’s just me personally (although i did hear people say the same complaints as i had so i’m definitely not alone there) and near the end it is very hard to make out some words people are saying like there’d be multiple people saying shit and i’d be hella confused and what they are saying and another problem the film itself never really explains they are in an ocean of blood properly i know this because i went to see it with someone who was very unfamiliar with the game and on the drive back from it they were complaining how confusing it was for them but they still enjoyed it for the most part
so if you want my final thoughts on it you should definitely go see it despite it’s flaws you might like it you might hate it (i know because i remember as i was leaving the guy in the guy behind me and my friend had an angry face on them) but i’m overall curious what your thoughts are gonna be at the end of the day

tl;dr great movie but it’s not perfect highly recommend regardless
