So, anybody here like Steven Universe? I ignored it forever because the fanbase seemed a little…I dunno.

But my favorite friend started watching it so I ended up watching it too. It kind of slowly grew on me. My feelings were kind of along these lines:

Episode one: eh this is ok I guess not my cup of tea
Episode five: Oh this is pretty good
Episode ten: yeah yeah YEAH I can totally dig this
Episode twenty: This is my favorite american cartoon.

The color pallets are always really nice looking and the music is good and I love the characters. It kind of makes me feel like a little kid again and the whole show puts me in a nice happy chill mood.

Lion is the best character
