Anyone else notice how similar Yume Nikki is to Majora's Mask?

Majora's Mask has kind of an ethereal, dreamlike feel to a lot of it, and there are 24 effects in YN compared to Majora's Mask's 24 masks.

There's even a faceless mask, and a frog mask.

I was going to post this on /v/ but /og/ is probably a lot slower and will have a lot more answer.
I am looking for Video Games that offer the same things Yume Nikki does. I want atmosphere and I want to be "scared". Not jump scared but I want to be troubled, I want something that unnerves me and makes me look inside and get lost in it. Graphics are not an issue as you might guess but I would prefer something easily downloadable and installable for the PC because I'm not very skilled with getting things to work.

I've been playing a little bit of Fallout 1 (found it at Goodwill) and I'm just getting my ass handed to me at every turn. Maybe I'm just not used to RPG's (I normally play action games) but it's freakin' hard!
