I skipped the chumlogs when I first read homestuck, and then realized I had no idea why all this crazy shit was going on. It's not like they're any more laborious to read than like three pages of a novel or an hour in a sort of slow chat room.

The colors can be a problem sometimes, Jade was my least favorite character for a while just because her bright-ass text was such an eyesore against the white background.

I hate Vriska but the fat Vriska thing in the fandom is really funny to me. Even then no character in the comic is as unlikeable as Eridan. At least Vriska was a badass and accomplished some things.

The pesterlogs are usually boring and unfunny,

but the rare occasions where they're funny (and the even rarer occasions where they're dramatic) make it worth it.
